Dr. Mondoux graduated from the University of Windsor in 2011 with a Bachelor of Human Kinetics (Honours Movement Science) degree where he was a member of the Varsity Men’s Volleyball Team. He went on to attend New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) and graduated Summa Cum Laude with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2014. While at NYCC, he was inducted into the Phi Chi Omega Chiropractic Honor Society for consecutively being named to the Dean’s List of academic excellence. He also simultaneously completed his Bachelor of Professional Studies degree at NYCC, earned a Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Diploma from McMaster University and became a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He furthered his stuidies by specializing in sports injuries by becoming a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner through the Southern California University of Health Sciences as well as earning his International Certificate in Sports Chiropractic through the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic.
Dr. Mondoux is fully committed to offering the best and most effective treatment to his patients. It is because of this that he became Full Body Certified in Active Release Techniques (ART®), which is a soft tissue treatment method for injuries involving muscles, ligaments, tendons, fascia and nerves. Everyone, from local community members to world-class athletes utilize this technique. Additional earned certifications include Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Kinesio Taping and an Advanced Certificate in Sport Science & Human Performance.
While maintaining academic honors in his studies, Dr. Mondoux was lucky to thrive in his clinical placements. He was fortunate enough to be selected as an intern at the Canandaigua Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Canandaigua, NY. This prestigious position offered him the opportunity to treat veterans of the United States Armed Forces for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Dr. Mondoux also had the great opportunity to treat world-class athletes at various sporting events including the FINA World Swimming Championships in WIndsor, ON and the Ironman 70.3 in Syracuse, NY.
Since returning to the Windsor area, Dr. Mondoux continues to stay active by spending his free time weight training, golfing and spending quality time with his friends, wife and son.
